Chloe Rosser

Rosser

Chloe Rosser was born in 1991 and grew up in London. She studied BA Photography at Falmouth University, graduating in 2013.
In her series, Form, Rosser deals with the human figure. Photographed in this contorted fashion, the body becomes inhuman. It is a mindless mass of flesh, both intriguing and repelling us. Here, what should be intimately familiar is transformed into an unfamiliar sculpture. The work is an unsettling exploration into the human condition and our alienation from our own bodies.
Rosser has exhibited in shows such as Fresh Faced + Wild Eyed 2014 at The Photographers’ Gallery, and The London Art Fair 2014. She was selected to be in The Catlin Guide 2014: New Artists in the UK.
